Dont buy through apple!!!!!

This would have been a 5-star review. However:
If you buy your subscription through iTunes (for full price), you can only read your issues on Apple-branded hardware. If you create an account on their website, and buy that way, you can then sign in and read on anything. Support wont even be sympathetic, let alone fix the issue. I dont think I need to point out the irony in a magazine about Linux that doesnt work on Linux.
Second, despite the fact that I have an active subscription, and all of the back issues, the app keeps bombarding me with offers to buy the back issues I already own.

As I mentioned, this is a 5-star app, but since neither the publisher nor Apple will fess up to how badly youre getting screwed by buying this way, I thought Id try to save at least one other person from this debacle.

tl;dr: DO NOT BUY MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS THROUGH APPLE IF YOU OWN ANY NON-APPLE DEVICES!!!!!!
